Dream and Ski Events
Daily Events
At Dream and Ski, we will have events offered all three days of the convention. Slopes will be all accessible for special assistance skiing as well as fully staffed with instructors and our normal ski patrol. Participants will be able to receive a free Mountain Slide frozen hot chocolate from Fireside Valley Coffee Shop each day of the convention. The Children's Area will have different small activities each day.
Race Day
August 4th Exclusive
On the first day of the convention, August 4th, we will have organized races that will take place on two of our slopes. These races will need to be preregistered atleast 48 horus before the event to participate. We will have day of sign ups available, but will be limited to time available and on a first come first serve basis. Races will only be organized through L'Avalanche for August 4th and will not be offered other days of the convention.

Keynote Speakers and Panel Discussion
August 5th Exclusive
On August 5th, the second day of the convention, we will have speakers that the participants will be able to hear about their accomplishments with disabilities. Danelle and Rob Umstead are from Des Plaines, Illinois. Danelle is a Paralympic Skiier who is blind and has MS. Rob, her husband, acts as her guide skiier and guides her with his voice. They have taken two medals from the Paralympics in Skiing. AJ Maymard is 19 year old who found skiing as a relaxation to his Down Syndrome. He is from Mattawan, Michigan and has competed in the Special Olympics since he was 8 years old. He has received gold and bronze medals, and is active in other sports as well.
Participants will be able to hear from these speakers, and then have a time for a panel style Q&A.

Snow Fun
August 6th Exclusive
The last day of the convention, August 6th, we will have a featured event called Snow Fun. This will be a relaxed, at your own pace type of event. Snowman Building will be offered in the Snow Court Center Area, as well as s'mores in the Children's Area. Participants will also be able to use our toboggan run free of charge this day. Outdoor movies and documentaries will be featured as well.
