We will need to make sure that our building is not in the perimeter of any National Parks to prevent any issues in the present or if we want to expand in the future.

In Louisiana they have the Air Force, Army, and Navy. In Shreveport they have the Army and Air Force. This area will have a lot of military families so we will need to provide a military ticket discount. Since these families move around a lot, some will most likely have experienced skiing so we will need to live up to their expectations they may have from their past experiences skiing.

The Sportsman's Paradise means that Louisiana has a very diverse fish and wildlife population. This affects our business because we need to be able to compete with other recreational activities like hunting and fishing that people from Louisiana usually spend most of their time doing. People from Louisiana are raised outside doing these activities so our facility needs to feel like an outdoor ski slope and not be claustrophobic.

Agriculture includes Forestry, Rice, Corn, Sugar Cane, Soy Beans, Cattle, and Calves.

These cities have the major air ports, so many tourists come to theses cities for many activities like casinos, football and the French Quarter. We need to be able to get these tourists to also come to our resort. Since Shreveport has a major air port it will be convenient for people coming from far away and not local residents.

Agriculture is the main source of income for Louisiana. We will be helping to improve the tourism and hospitality industries in Louisiana. We also may be able to partner with many agriculture companies in order to trade resources.

There is a major airport along with major highways and interstates. Their transportation options make getting to Shreveport very convenient for locals and for people traveling out of the state.

Shreveport: Casinos, football stadiums and plantations.

Louisiana: The French Quarter, plantations, football stadiums, old state capitol, USS Kidd and veteran's memorial, and casinos.

We will need to compete with these area attractions for business. If guests are coming to visit these other local attractions, we need to draw them to our ski resort while they are in town.

Shreveport: Line Avenue Shopping District which is a five mile treasure trove of unique gifts. There are also many malls and a premeire shopping district.

Louisiana: Perking Rowe, Mall of Louisiana, gift shops in New Orleans, and many small malls.

These shopping areas will be beneficial for us to advertise in.

What does the film industry in Shreveport and Louisiana look like?

Louisiana is known as the Hollywood of the South. In 2002 they reformed their tax incentives to promote the film industry and draw it to Louisiana. The film industry is continually growing every year. A lot of people from Hollywood, including celebrities, have moved to Louisiana, so if we have celebrities come to our resort, it will be good publicity.

Sports in Shreveport and the state of Louisiana

Some sports teams include the LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, New Orleans Hornets, Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, Mcneese Cowboys, Monroe Warhawks and ULL Ragin Cajuns.

People will be coming from out of the state to watch these teams play, so we need to advertise for them to come to our ski resort while they are in the state. Many people will also be coming to Shreveport for football bowl games from other states teams in December and January that we need to advertise to, which can be done in the stadiums.

These employers draw a lot of people to this area for work. We will be another major employer in this area, and will need to compete with other major employers in this area to make people want to work for us.

There are also many musical festivals throughout the year. This will affect our business because we can plan special events around different festivals, advertise in the festivals, and the festivals draw people to our area from around the country.
